Once upon a time, Bill Willingham came to me and pitched a series that was a sequel to his critically acclaimed series ELEMENTALS. Now, since Bill no longer owned the series, we went with a sequel in tone only. So PANTHEON follows the tone of ELEMENTALS and features the last great adventure of a team of costumed heroes. All of the clever flourishes that have become Willingham’s hallmark on the FABLES series are here between the covers of this first trade paperback. The second trade which will contain PANTHEON #7- #13 is in the final stages of production and is scheduled for 2009.
