The story here by Peter Milligan has Apocalypse wanting to kill 90% of the human race just to even them up with the mutants own losses from the plot device called House of M. So he saddles up the flying sphynx and blusters at the X-Men in their yard and goes and pesters the United Nations. And in something we have seen before a time or two with more popular characters, one of the X-Men becomes one of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse who are made up by new guys every time. Meet the new Death, same as the old Death. The story is trite and done to death, ahem. But the star here is in the art by Salvador Larroca that is done in an interesting wash technique. So, look at the pictures and try not to spend any time thinking about the story or about the fact that the XMen have lousy tacticians for opponents.
